Not much done this weekend, put on the drivers drip rail....messier job this time. Pulled the rear bumper skin off the framework in readiness to go down to Tampa to pic up a rechrome from bumper boyz at some swap meet near there.

oddly enough the motor....it runs well. Very small rear seal leak that I can live with. Gonna be spending some time redoing the interior again....which is of course expensive so its going to be s----l---o---w before its really anything close to finished.

Yeah, like you really need to listen to a guy that buys Rancheros to feed the iron content of his yard...

    It's my license plate.

Edit: apologies for the quote of an old post. I'm on a sugar crash from only having a bagel for breakfast.

Pfffft, I switched to rusting out Dodges a long time ago. Doing a fine job with two of them at the moment. My Ford is sparkling clean and always ready for service.

Such a shame you tucked. That front lip could be sticking out loud and proud.

I guess you could call this a review of the Mac's/Ecklers repop rear bumper rubber strips. Nice quality pieces
feel heavy duty, look good. Threaded inserts feel nicely anchored. Kit of two was $70. No hardware included
so thank goodness for hardware stores and grade 8 stainless.

FINALLY, Baby got back as they say. Good fit, not great but much better than the beat up original unit. 1 step closer to back on the road. There are many adjustments but limits to the overall adjustability. I'm pretty happy with it though. butt1.jpg butt2.jpg butt3.jpg butt4.jpg

Not that gap issue you so rudely called out, I hope.
