Great Job!!! What a beautiful looking ride. You and your body man have done an awesome job on that ranchero! If you don't place at the shows I would be very suprised.
Yeah, I agree....but you have to remember that back in those days, most cars were worn out and/or rusted out by the time they were 5 years old. They didn't expect them to last long enough for the gas to damage the paint. Good job, Clark!
Hey Clark, we almost look like twins, black 74, rally wheels, silver strip, caddi seats. i would like to have side by side pics of that. Great job.
Yes, I agree that Ford never could have even imagined that 30 to 40 years later there would people like us still driving and maintaining our Rancheros. Ford was probally planning on us to be still driving Fairmonts and Probes...haha
And try to imagine what is going to be left of a 2012 car in another 40 years -- I figure the plastic won't last more than half that.
Actually my punk *** co worker does that with the most piece of crap Honda's, Nissan's and such now. It makes me sick.
That could happen!!! Come join us for the southeastern RancheroUSA gathering each year... We`re gonna bring ours, bring your Ranchero to the 2013 Southern Wheels `n Motion CarShow third saturday in June... Ann is our official photographer, she`ll get pics! Mark your calendar now!
Back home at last but still a great deal of work to do - a few electrical problems with the lights and then the clean up. That danged buffing/polishing dust goes everywhere!
So that's what mine is supposed to look like (other than color scheme)? Huh, I can live with that. LOL
Also got to finally install those tie downs. Carl sent me these about a hundred years back. A1 in Tuscumbia chrome plated them. Also used stainless steel bolts.
