    What a beautiful looking ride. You and your body man have done an awesome job on that ranchero! If you don't place at the shows I would be very suprised.

    Yeah, I agree....but you have to remember that back in those days, most cars were worn out and/or rusted out by the time they were 5 years old. They didn't expect them to last long enough for the gas to damage the paint.;)

    Yes, I agree that Ford never could have even imagined that 30 to 40 years later there would people like us still driving and maintaining our Rancheros. Ford was probally planning on us to be still driving Fairmonts and Probes...haha;)

    Back home at last but still a great deal of work to do - a few electrical problems with the lights and then the clean up. That danged buffing/polishing dust goes everywhere!

    Also got to finally install those tie downs. Carl sent me these about a hundred years back. A1 in Tuscumbia chrome plated them. Also used stainless steel bolts.
