Trans cooler lines

    Thanks to a previous thread I discovered Inline Tube. Since my truck has been retrofitted with an AOD, will C6 trans cooler lines be the correct shape? Thx

    From the cooler to where the block and BH meet, it's the same. But an AOD has both fittings up front, IIRC, while the C6 has one up front and one in back. But I'm sure you could measure, trim and properly shape the ends to match the AOD. Remember, though, that the AOD is metric, so verify the ferrules correctly fit the fittings on the trans case, otherwise, leaksville....

    i took the ferrules out of my FMX and put them in a AOD then swopped them to a AODE no leaks

    Did you have to modify the lines much? I know, when I swapped to the C4, I had to find C4 lines, otherwise I would have had to modify the FMX lines too much, risk damaging one or both.
