I went last week to a local paint shop to check on a 68 fastback that me and my car buddy are doing a restoration on. You don't see two Ranchero's together much - so... I snapped a couple pictures. I think the other one is a 77?? The guy just spent *tons* of money on it getting it painted up - the old truck was pretty rusty. I think he could have bought three for what he spent on that one - something special about it, and he wanted to keep it and enjoy it.... you can't fault a guy for that.
So, Did you invite him to join us??? Both here on site, AND to our roundup.... edit; Oh yeah Southern Wheels n Motion in June, too...
of course I would - if I knew who it was. Somebody else painted the gold ranchero - on the low part of the truck... there are clear coat runs. It's at this guys place to correct that mess. If I see the guy - I'll put him on "us" for sure!
