Not just a Mercury ...........but a 49/51 MERC....the quintessential KUSTOM.... and only 3 problems I see with it..2 are easy fixes The rear view mirror dost not look right and the "PURPLE" paint needs to be a lot darker.... THE LAST PROBLEM IS THE HARDEST TO FIX.......................ITS NOT MINE!!!!!!!!!! [ May 29, 2006, 10:36 AM: Message edited by: 5.0 Chero ]
Sarah, I see that the "Addams Family" black Lincoln was there beside the purple Chevy. If the owner ever offers a drive in it again, do take him up. I want your opinion about some things I know you will notice if you ride in a 58 thru 60 version. Tennessee Hillbilly
Yep that Lincoln was there too...and still looks sharp. He has told me its a ride never to be forgotten...whatever that means... Carl, that purple beauty belongs to a grandma here in town...it was a gift to her by her kids....nice huh. I don't think it will ever be for sale.
I'm really starting to like the 40's....they are so cool in their own right.... We even had Officer Joe show up.... we have quite a few of the Camaro's as cop cars around here, this was a Sheriff's car but the state Patrol also has them...
