I particularly like the HD "NOS" battery hold down. Really not a bad vehicle at all(for the right price of course), I'd drive it, nice survivor. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, lol. Neither did mine once when I had to wind one back so the new gauge cluster I installed matched the original mileage.

Crap ! For that kind of jingle I would expect power seats, windows, auto/temp a/c, tilt, cruise, a quadra-track stereo tape, and a 429/460 with trailer tow. I keep my beaters cleaner under the hood than that. I'd offer around $3k if it has absolutely zero rust. Keep this in mind = 71 and 72 full size Fords have absolutely nothing to stop the hood from slicing your head off in a frontal collision, bad design that let's the hood fit between the windshield posts. Seen that in person, too often in my area.

Wow. Really. I never noticed the bare optioned interior. Especially for a squire. Mine has rear power seats, tilt column, power windows, a tow package and working A/C

The hood on my 72 Ranchero is wider than the widest (very bottom) of the windshield. Not by much, a little over 1/2". Mine would slide over the windshield anyway though as it is hinged from the front and fiberglass.

Back in the mid-60's, my Dad had an earlier model of one of these. It did everything a modern SUV did, with a lot more space inside. He'd put a small mattress in the back for us kids, and we'd escape the MN winter for a vacation in Texas or Arizona. Lotta fond memories of places we saw in that car.
