As a Boy Scout, I was taught to "Be Prepared". So, in addition to personal protection, here are some of the things that are in my Ranchero:

    Basic tools
    Bottle jack
    Tire iron
    Jump starter
    Plastic gas can (empty)
    Funnel
    Flashlight
    Fire extinguisher
    Spare ignition module

    Whattaya carryin'?

Just an FYI about Unilite distributors: numerous people had problems with them burning out the modules but the quick and simple fix is to install a ballast resistor...I have never had any problems with mine but I had a screaming deal to get another module so I couldn't resist...sorry if I'm hijacking...

I have a spare ignition module. I'm not wanting to pay retail for one of them on the road.

No jack and no spare tire but do carry a wheel nut wrench. Risky I suppose but do have insurance for roadside repair and towing.

I have thought of buying a donut tire to fit my '75 GT. Any ideas as for what to buy?

I have a donut spare and scissor jack. Fuses and some basic tools. Running a Pertronix module and kept the points and condenser just in case.
