    Hello

My steering wheel have the plastic broken and sharp. I don't really like it shape, too thin for my big hands ;-)

What have you pout on your chero's ? Pics ?

    Thanks

I may have a pic, I'll look, but I rebuilt my steering column years ago, and since I replaced the column head with one from a 1982 Econoline van, I was able to use a factory 1987-1991 pickup truck steering wheel, which is factory leather-covered, and big enough for my hands, so one of those wheels would fit your hands. I try to stay with factory parts that fit with no modifications.

Of course, in using this wheel, my trousers have worn the leather down in a few places, and it'll have to come off at some point. Also, the horn pad is not installed yet after doing this work, but it works with the factory horn (when the horns are plugged in and working) and horn relay. Eventually, it will have the late 1980s cruise control, which is why I chose the 1982 column, as the wiring supports it.

Strange look ;-). I like also the factory parts when it's doable, but here, there is no American cars in junkyards ;-(.

True enough. And shipping/import duty would be very expensive. You'd need a newer column and wheel to accomplish it.
