So does that mean you're gonna swear like a stable boy? Harland Sanders wasn't just famous for his chicken (and the gravy, before he sold out); he was an inveterate swearer, like General Patton.
baked potatos or french fries, beef in almost any form, brussel sprouts, lima beans, string beans all OK with me. On the baked? just a little salt and a pat of butter. Particularly, t-bone, rump roast, pot roast. Leftover beef with bowtie noodles and gravy, or stew. Simple food. The old broad treats me alright.
Ribald, I applaud your prioritizing each meal with the appropriate refreshment... a man after my own heart. Wait- are meals required??
Beer is food. It is bread, as in Our Lord's Prayer 'give us O' lord our daily bread'. That basically makes beer drinking a requirement. One could survive on a properly fortified beer alone, but I enjoy eating, so no need to go that route. Anyway I find that even beer is more enjoyable with a minor nod to moderation so I limit it to the evenings. The only time I prefer spirits is with a good cigar.
no pics..... Did not have that for dinner, just posted my fav meal which I only eat on special occasions because it takes 10 years off your life. Where I live you can buy a rack of Tony Romas Baby Back Pork Ribs at Wal-Mart for $10 bucks.....try it sometime, YUMMY
Leftover taters and onions, with fairly decent organic burger patties: My apologies, I was supposed to post last night and forgot before I went to bed.
I do admit that I can swear like a sailor when provoked. Everyone's food ideas/menus were great! I myself walked into KFC this evening, armed with pics of my Halloween costumed self to share with the class.
Here are a few more. The chicken is my boss. No, we did NOT plan that!! And I threw in one of me, so you can see who's behind the glasses, lol...
Oh, we know who's behind the costume. And that costume (plus the pic with the Boss Clucker) was fairly hilarious; it put a big grin on my face!
