That stud can set up a semi trailer underride crash test in less than 3 hours. In fact, he has removed over 36 2010 Chevrolet Malibu's from the US fleet. You're welcome.
STUD was not word I would use more like a fa.............
Luigi from Mario Brothers?
Some guy about to get run over by a truck?
Are the Chevy Malibu's preferred in some way for the underride tests?
Is that coffee or shine in the mug under your right arm?
Good Vid or skip to 6:30
It's been a looooong time since I've seen that, and even today, it still makes my gut tighten up when the Ventura hits the trailer.
Liked that chase too save for the sound effects recycled from Bullitt.
I thought he would look more Irish
And the stunt driver. First thing I noticed about them, Richard Lynch is the passenger. The way he looked during the chase, I bet his trousers were soaked when filming was done. Second thing I noticed, Bill Hickman was driving!
Yup ! Same crew.
Bill Hickman was following James Dean when he crashed and died near Paso and id I remember correctly he as first on scene of the accident
Wben we ran the first round of these tests, we bought then new Malibu's because they were a Top Safety Pick, almost exact average mass of the US car fleet, and pretty cheap in the LS trim. We then continued to use them up until 2018 to remove any variables. I know of at least 5 more that have been trashed by other labs running our test.
That's my coffee mug, which I have with me at all times, from walking out the door until lunch, then I switch to drinking water. I basically drink coffee, water, beer or scotch. Never, ever a soda, diet or otherwise.
A great grandfather came from Ireland. The remainder of my ancestors mostly from Great Britain and Germany. I have two cousins that have red hair and freckles. Damn leprechauns.
Well, at least you're not constantly sporting an orange tie....
