Why windshield wipers get sloppy

    This is why the wipers used to flop clear off the windshield on my '75 GT.

    Dan - No, I just bought a good replacement set from BlueOval. If hard pressed, I believe you might fix a set using RTV. The bearing surfaces are fine. It's the rubber isolators (like A-frame suspension bushings) that go bad. My guess is that the bearings ran dry (I certainly never even knew they were there and could be lubricated) and ripped out the rubber isolators since every single one in the assembly was bad.
