Here is a picture of the dent that was fixed in the rear quarter/door area after i ground all the old filler out. look at the old brass work!!! and where they drilled the holes in the quarter to pull the dent. I guess back then they didnt have a Uni-Spotter.

Mine had more than a 2.5" thickness of filler in the quarter. The whole quarter. I'll bet there was 50 lbs of bondo I removed. Yours looks great to me.

Yea Sean, it was a nice older repair. who ever did it did a great job. its nice to see brass work. these days you would buy a skin and patch it up. i bet the filler was no thicker than a quarter inch at the thickest. the door looked just as nice! the color being yellow it was a little more forgiving than black would be. the hood has a pretty good doink in it.

Brass, ha, don't kid yourself it is probably coat hanger ;). Yep, 20 years ago that is exactly how I fixed my Mustang rust.

Down to the metal, I like it...

i purchased a 67 GT A two door .i got two 390's with it. i at first thought of building a 390 clone out of my 289. takeing the disc brake set up off of it the 390 C6 and the 9" rear. but i am going to leave mine the way it is supposed to be. but i may use the hood!!!! someone put hood pins in it at some point and a hood scoop right in the middle of the hood!!!! see all the holes in it!
