here are he new seat covers i got from Falcons and Comets in Seattle Wa. these fit a bunch better than the ones i got from the other folks. Im going to finish the bottom today and i will (ihope) post a picture of the completed seat tonight.
Here i put a piece of 1/2 inch foam under the foam on the drivers side. you can see where i cut out the piece of foam that was all riped up and replaced it with a 1 inch peice 15x17.
Dennis, that is the way it is done when one restores, so many folks don't know and are misguided, Nice job Shifty ....
Here is the hood I bought on ebay. I spent more on shipping than I did on the hood itself!!! but you gotta do what ya gotta do. And rest assured I had it shipped via UPS and I did receive it damaged!!!! When I called about collecting on the insurance they told me it was packaged incorrectly and it was the fault of the person who shipped it to me. My argument was: When you receive a package for shipment, and you offer insurance, once you are in possession of the parcel its your baby. however... they feel different. so.... I have about 18 hours into fixing the corners of this hood. (ok thats a little of an exageration more like 8 hrs.) But it did clean up nice on the underneath. Its going to make a fine hood.
shifty...i am so impressed....im in the same boat as you...i just gutted my interior yesterday...i wish i had a paint booth =( im so into this i work outside in my condo parking lot when everyone stares at me
I know th feelin...I done had th innerds outta Rusty and all th chrome off,and th panels off and was getting th job done of removing rust and loose paint...then Th S10 quit and I put th motor back in,th new seats back in and reassembled a bunch of th stuff I had removed without th finishin touches on accountta I had to get a runnin truck on th road...So...It`ll be done again...and this time as I get one thing ready it`ll be prepped fer paint...then move on to th next...
