Hey any of ya'll been to a place called Biff"s. Supposed to be a cruise in on fridays. Ive been invited next friday. Its over on topperwien and 35.

 

Biff buzbys It's on topepperwein and 35. It's cool. Every Fri is a car show.

 

The guy that invited said there will be a lot of cars there and great hamburgers. We'll see!

 

Been there a few times.

A few of the Local Elky guys go there and one in particular goes there a lot.

Generally a great way to kill a Friday evening.

Biff's does have some pretty good munchies---and I'm pretty sure, beer.
(I usually just steal Richards--the San Antonio elky ambassador for visitors)

Some pretty interesting rides show up too.
A couple of weeks ago a 1960 Canadian Ford showed up.
Never saw one before and kind of halfway thought is was a custom of some sort.

The front and rear of the car "LOOKED" like something Mercury would have done if they were using the Sunliner body

 

I looked biffs up on utube. Looks like its pretty crowded on Fridays.

Well, I know its not tomorrow, but I finally made it over to look at the '57.

 

It has some rust here and there. The tailgate has no rust. He was saying he has the motor and trans (rebuilt) but not at the cars location. Has all the chrome. Now if we can come to some sort of trade deal......

 

those cars look sweet in any condition.....patina can be kewl...

 

Hey 210eddiep, I got the Precision Products guy on the telephone yesterday. He must have been expecting a call, obviously from someone else. The last time I caught him was last September.

When asked about my pump, now 2 years in his shop, he hemed and hawed a good bit, said it had all sorts of problems, he'd replaced everything inside the pump, and he should have it ready to ship TODAY! I'll be standing by the phone for his call (ha ha ha whoa).

 

You might want me to run by and pick it up for you. I'm not sure you can trust him to ship it.

 

If I get it I may have to drive it like that a while but I won't mind at all
