AOD swaps

I have read about several AOD swaps and am planning one myself (getting rid of my FMX that still works great but I want that extra gear). I have a 302 block with Hedman long tube headers. However, I am curious what type of headers have you guys been doing swaps with? The 71 Ranchero I have with a set of Hedmans on a 351C block has tons more gound clearance than I have with my 302. Just gathering info so I know what I'm getting into.

When I get in the F100 I sure miss that too...
I`m so used to Rustys` "fourth gear" change...
I ain`t running no headers on mine, so, no help there...
BUT, AOD is the way to go...
I`d even be tempted to get one of those newer ~ more gears units, if at all possible...
You know, the five or six speeds??? Are they available fer us???
