all l can tell you is my brother lives in ireland, he drives a ford transit [kinda like an econoline] with a 2.5 diesel in it, he gets his used cooking oil free from the local fish and chip shops, it runs fine on it [you can smell it coming] only problem is when it gets real cold there the 'fuel' freezes into lard, but it saves him a lot of money, [most of the year] as regards a choice of motor, l say a inline six mercedes benz motor,
best of luck, and welcome to our club, keep us updated, regards, colin smile.gif

the 84 up 6.9 diesel uses the 460 bellhousing and can be had with a c6 automatic. not sure about motor mounts but I think they are the same as 460 to. but it is heavy!
