help removing instrument surround, '66

I'm trying to get my intrument surround out from my dash, having that darnest time. I've pulled the screws out, disconencted the speedo, and can pull the surround away fromt he dash a few inches, but not far enough out to disconenct anything else. How am I supposed to get this sucker out?

Ford never was too generous with wire you may have to disconnect everything before you pull it out.
