Keep or lose the heater?

My friend Jason thats been helping me with my car has experience with "prostreet" cars and other musclecars (hes got an 83 camero dragster) and he told me I should just eliminate the heater since im not going to be driving it in the winter or anything like that, and this guy Donvin I know says that if im driving and it starts to rain that if the windows fog up im screwed, but see I dont plan on driving this car in the rain anyways (ive got 14" wide slicks on the back) and Personally I think I want to get rid of it because those hoses piss me off, and where the heater is I could locate some of the stuff that is on the wheelwells (starter modual, cellnoid, electroic regulator, and I need some advice here. Its nice to think your building a super race car for the track that you can run on the street but it dosen't work that way some things just can't be sacarificed .If it is going to be a driver you need the heat for the deforst and a/c is nice for those long night drives.
