I had to pull, inspect and clean my tank this last go`round when I retagged Rusty fer the southeastern roundup, October...
It had some NASTY stuff in it, I didn`t treat the gas before storage...(shame on me!!!)
I was surprized at the condition the tank is in, really good fer a 43 year old unit...and all the parts still worked with the exception of the filter screen on the end of the pick up tube....
Made of galvanized material with very little suface rust inside, considering the age...
Have you tried to repair yours???
Hillbilly has a buddy who builds fuel cells if you need to go that route...

Ive had it cleaned and poured tamk sealer kit in there a few years ago but honestly it didnt look that good and I have been keeping my eyes open for another...it is working but I dont know for how long. I'd rather not take the fuel cell route unless it mounted stock etc. Bruce
