Have you checked Dearborn Classics or Auto Krafter? What is the length and diameter of the hose you require? Is it straight or has a bend in the hose?

falconparts.com has a lot of stuff for Ranchero too. I had a fuel "filling problem" due to previous owner using a generic accordian hose. A correct bend, smooth-wall hose from FalconParts made it a lot less frustrating to fill up.

Hey thanks for the relys. You re right, falconparts.com sells the one I need. I am also using an accordian hose and it's a pain in the butt to fuel up. I will get me a new one and hopefully that will fix it.

As a matter of fact, I just placed the order for all that stuff. I am getting close of getting it up to pass the inspection and get the registration for it.

I am very afraid that the fuel hose will not fix your slow fueling problem. To be sure pull the left taillight and look for a vent metal pipe tha comes through the inner fender, and exits through the bottom of the quarter panel. I fought this problem for a while, but found the problem.

surprisingly:eek:, replacing the hose fixed the problem... I could now fuel up pushing the lever all the way and there is no blurching going on.

I know you've already ordered/received the filler hose, but I found it easier to take the old hose down to the parts store and compare your hose to the hoses they have available.
You've only looking for a section of a a longer hose that has the correct curves in the right place, then just cutoff the portions of auto strore hose that is inapprppriate.
Worked for me; cheaper, faster and no shipping.

That will work for temporary but radiator hose is not rated for fuel and it will deteriorate a lot faster.
