79 F-250 2 WD, 460 C6 78K original miles with all date coded stuff included. New Holley 750 Runs and drives good, minimal rust as it was rustproofed when new. Holds good oil psi and temp. Has Ranger padded headliner, sport wheel, extra capacity radiator. Seat is in awesome shape with no tears or rips, covered dash pad. Cab mounts and corners are perfect, I see these rotted to death and mine has none of the rust issues that most do. This truck can pull a house or what ever you need to do with it. Largest Hitch you can buy and all the trailer wiring works. I would drive it to Mars and feel compfortable. Thinking of dumping or trading it for a Ranchero.

Well Billy... here a truck like that in that great of a condition would sell anywhere from 2500 to 4000 depending on the driver. If it were 4x4 it would bring even more.... But that is here. Colorado loves those old fords... with it being a 3/4 ton I wouldn't personally sell it for less than 3000 that is my opinion. :D

Sarah is right about how prices differ regionally. Still, you better think long and hard about what you want here. If you can swing it, keep your truck and save up for a Ranchero.
Have you got any idea how hard it would be to replace your truck ?
Hillbilly
Billy, question is.....if you were looking for a truck....what would you pay?
I agree with Sarah....truck like that around here, easy 3000. Trucks aren't for sale here long. My 78 bronco sold for 2000. I could have gotten more but needed the $ to buy my chero and didn't want to miss out on getting it. My bronco wasn't near the shape your truck is in.

Hillbilly,
I would love to keep it and just buy a Ranchero BUT I have Major space problems here ask Clark. My wife now has her company car here also. So I have a 1 car garage with my 73 Torino in it. A 2000 Taurus, 92 5.0 LE Vert, 79 F-250, camper, and a 06 Pontiac G6. I live in the City Looks like a car dealer lot. I know it would be hard to find a 79 in this shape even though its by far perfect, its a lot nicer than most I have seen. I have thought about buying a small garage on a piece of land but then I am in the hole and will not be able to afford another car as the money would go for the garage payment. Wish I was a Rich man but that is far from the case. I am already at my ends with storing my cars at friends houses. My Mustang goes to my Fathers Friends for the winter, my Torino sits in my garage and my truck sits in my friends Garage. Nice to have friends :D

I`d be glad to store it fer ya here in Ga.,BUT that would be quite a trip to come get it when you need it,however it would be well looked after...AND I`d need to take care of th camper along with it,bein as th weather is JUST RIGHT!!!
BUT,$3-5000 here would be a good deal...

Your truck looks great, but around here it would probably bring $2000 or less. The long wheel base would hurt it with the antique truck crowd, and you can buy a much later model in that price range if you want a work truck. I would imagine that it's harder to find a low-rust truck from that era in your area, though. Around here they are plentiful.

Well around here I should have no problem getting 2,500 for the truck and 1,500 for the camper. I think I am going to package deal them and just try to get what I have into them. I really dont car about making a nickel just clear up some space here to get a Ranchero.

If I had it Billy.... :D I'd love to be able to go camping again.... good luck...its a bargain... :D
Kim and me have wanted to buy a motor home. Just something small. We don't "camp", we like to travel. I'd be interested, but we've got a few bills to pay off and that won't be done till the end of the year. 2500/truck and 1500/camper you should be able to sell it pretty quick. Shoot, talk to Sean....he's livin' in the basement of a horse barn. :D :D He might be a bit more confortable in the camper....... :D
