Dead GT

[75 Squire]

I was at my local Pepboys today when I heard a car roaring up the road out side. I looked out just in time to see a brand new Ford GT fish tailing it up the hill. The driver then lost control, slid out and jumped the curb smacking a light pole before winding up back in the middle of the street. The back right fender was all smashed up and the back right wheel was crooked, he must have smashed the rear suspension when he hit the pole. There just happend to be a Police car pulling out of the parking lot right when this happend so there were able to make sure the driver was ok, but I dont think he will be able to talk his was out of a ticket. It was a sad sight seeing that yellow and black GT sitting there. I wish I had my camera at the time but alas I didnt.

Oh man....that sucks badly....its funny about the cop, and the guy deserves a ticket...but the car didn't deserve its punishment.... :( poor baby :(

That sounds like the old A/C Cobras, the ones that are no longer on the road are mostly due to drivers not being able to handle them.

Yerp, sad things happen when folks get cars that are far beyond their ability to drive...That's why my kid's going to start with either an electric car or a 4-banger in 8 years...

Sad thing is, when a call goes out, I hit the red lights & do the vroom vrroom boogie to the firestation or to the scene...he may pick up a bad habit or two from that...lol
