When the leading pres. candidates are the leading ones simply because they've raised the most money, it's time to step back and start over. Hillary and Rudi both seem to be pretty rotten candidates. But I bet they are the two that get the nod. I say we write in CJ Guy on our ballots. Unite and be strong. Who's with me???

I have been pointing out these facts for years and a typical response is, "but then who will pick the crops?". What those numbers don't take into account is how much productivity is impacted by lost time, especially for those living in the border states such as California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. We are waiting in traffic longer, waiting in longer lines while shopping and waiting longer in emergency rooms to be seen by doctors. All of this adds up to lost productivity, wages and time. My fiancee use to work at a hospital and saw first hand how our hospitals are being abused by by illegals. They come across the border to have their babies delivered in the U.S.
They use hospital emergency departments as their free 24 hour private doctor to treat things such as colds and head aches. They even call for ambulances in order to get free transportation to the hospital, I am not making this up nor my fiancee. We are the ones that end up paying for all of this. In California there are now less than half the emergency departments in hospitals that there were twenty years ago while the population of the state has almost doubled in that time. There are no benefits to the American people to allow this kind of unchecked, uncontrolled illegal immigration to continue.

The liberals, bankrolled by trial lawyers like John Edwards, have worked hard to create a system that invites lawsuits for anything and everything.
I'm sure that you folks living in the border states are seeing all kinds of services being over-burdened by the illigals. We don't have that problem around here too bad....yet. The emergency rooms here are just clogged by the dead-beat 4th generation government dependents who have been here all their lives. They are so lazy, they wouldn't go to the trouble of signing up for insurance if it was offered to them free! They really think that health care (and lots of other things) are a right. Really though, who can blame them? The liberals have been telling them that for years to get their votes.

It's not our fault if someone is born into the "turd world" (where people are so ignorant they sh*t in their drinking water) which is a cess pool of disease and poverty, or has a goverment that abuses them (OUR govt. abuses us forcrissake!!), and we should not be made to compensate for that, because of their bad luck and unfortunate circumstance. There is a limit to compassion, especally when the recepients of our national generosity abuse all the priveliges given them, and then march in our free streets, paid for with the blood of U.S. Patriots, and waving foreign flags and demanding rights they don't have as illegals. I can now clearly understand the frustration and anger that leads to armed revolution; as in France, our politicians are telling us to "eat cake", unless we want $50 lettuce, or just F'off, and get out of the way of their ambitions. After all, we are only citizens!! Time for some heads to roll, both figuratively and literally, IMHO!!

just as 72gtva has ,i've been writing "my senators" and "my congressman" to date i haven't received a response from "my senators" although i did find out the slightly less than honorable senator john corryn tx republican has proposed an amendment to the amnesty bill which will deny the benifits of this bill to illegals who {a}have a criminal history of gang related offences , {b} are sexual predators, {c}have been convicted of smuggling other aliens while carrying a firearm. i can't believe the nerve of this a$$h@le, let's let everybody in except roving criminal gangs of sexual predators who smuggle aliens with firearms.and they can stay, they just can't receive the benefits of this sellout we're offering. my congressman gene green d. tx. had the decency to send me a reply which sounded good until i read the part that said this is not an amnesty because they will have to pay a $5000 fine. i wrote back and politely said , i'm sorry gene but that is not acceptable. i do urge all of you to write your senators and congressmen and tell them no to this bill. write in to your newspaper editorials , tell your freinds , and neighbors to do so also. i agree with blue, it's time for some heads to roll, both ways!!!......ray    p.s. 72 gtva is right about bringing this country down to the same conditions "they" left. everyday houston is resembling a bordertown more and more.....ray

just to add a few thoughts, mobile and not so mobile taco stands everywhere you look, a "store" opened up anywhere theres a shade tree and a table. 50% of signs in spanish, more in certain neighborhoods. diseases thought to have been eradicated from the u.s. years ago re:tuberculosis.going to the grocery store and more than half the people there are using food stamps and aid to dependant chidren vouchers to buy their food ,then using cash for beer ,cigs and lottery tickets, then driving away in relatively new cars. 5 families in a 3 bedroom house with 14 cars parked in the driveway the yard and the street.yes it's looking more and more like a border town....ray

I know what you mean, illegal street vendors at every corner. I went to the L.A. Auto show last year and not only were there illegal street vendors everywhere using stolen shopping carts to sell from, there was one women with a baby in diapers selling hot dogs and burgers she was cooking on a cookie sheet over sterno in a stolen shopping cart. So even if she was changing the babies diaper which I doubt she was, there was no running water anywhere near her to clean her hands nor soap for that matter as well as a shopping cart being one of the most common transfer points of germs. She was out there selling with the baby in arm when I came into the show and she was out there with baby in arm in the same location when I came out of the auto show over three hours later. Welcome to Amexica!

It sounds like the Governator needs to get a law passed to register all shopping carts! :D

denny, how about a 2 week waiting period? the homeless have the few "loose" shopping carts tied up around here. the hispanics here throw up a table or a blanket anywhere theres shade and start selling any and everything from used cars, chickens, used furniture, haircuts ,tatoos and tacos. it reminds me of my time working in nigeria ,the democratic republic of the congo ,chad and the ivory coast. yes, they are making the u.s.a. into what they left, a third world sh#th%le. while there are regulations against such behavior and activities, the local authorities turn a blind eye to it , quite a bit like the feds and the immigration problem. but what else is new......ray

The obvious: This will only end when blood runs in the streets. "Our" government isn't going to do anything about the immigration problem, I'm sorry but it's true. I have no faith in the system.

You guys are right, there has long ago been a coup d' etate (how ever that French is spelled) and the lobbiests, corrupt politicians, special interests, and groups like the illegals has taken over our govt. and are in the driver seat, and we are not even in the car any more. Our wonderful country, purchased with the blood of so many heroes over the centuries, has been stolen; pure and simple. We will get it back, that I'm sure of, but it will cost dearly again!!

yes thats a start, although we need to make it clear to the succesors, "who" put them in office in the 1st place and "who" can and will send them home if the interests of the citizens and the country do not come 1st.we need a fundamental change in the election process, as it is the elected are so beholding to the special interest for campaign donations they're corrupted before serving their 1st day in office. it's also going to be hard to unseat the incumbents with their money , power and campaign infrastructures , however it can be done. we also need to work on public opinion so that when the bums aren't doing what the people want, it's publicized, and the bums must answer to their constituents, and unless they start doing as the people want they'll be scratching their unemployed asses at home.......ray

Speaking of voting, I got a card in the mail to sign up for absentee voting, almost sent it in. Then said wait a minute, I've heard stories of people not getting their ballots, some liberal clerk b*tch ditching a bunch of absentees since she thought, "hmmm, they must be repubs, gone to Europe, so they have to vote absentee". Stats do show most absentees are reds, right? Yeah, I'm paranoid. Anyway I like to go down there to the polls and exercise my freedom, with lots of witnesses around!! Should be easy to vote out all incumbants; I hate every politician, and have no attachment to anyone any more, but that too makes it diffiecult, unless you just want to make a protest vote for a "no-chancer". Damn, we need a bunch of f'ing guillotines, that's what we really need!!
