Right now, I plan to be there.
Hey, why don't you guys who are complaining about the remote location sponsor you own Ranchero meet? Give the "Roundup" a little competition to the claim of being the world's largest gathering of Rancheros.

Six don't qualify....unless we go to the track...huh Tom... :D :D :D Get Joe down there with his, Pam with hers, Jerry with his, and then we do wicked burn outs...stage to the lights...and when they turn green. . . drive as slow as humanly possible :D :D :D

that thought is hilarious...me drive slow???never happen.

The Round-Up here in Washington started with one guy calling all the local members of the old Ranchero Club to see if they wanted to do a cruise-in...
The internet makes it easier to get the word out!

State or regional meets don't have to be big or fancy, just get together to have a good time! :D

Hey Sarah,

Not to compete for with the Ranchero-Roundup in WA. Here is an idea for us Colorado locals. The Wild West Auto Fest Saturday September 16th at Clement Park. I will have registration flyers out soon.

We could herd up all them their local Ranchero's and all park together at the show?

What do you say, we would love to see you there! We can participate in the WA roundup in spirit.

Ok, now I'm loosing it...Maybe some day each state holds a local roundup on the same weekend. Take a bunch of pictures post them all together on a webpage...whamo! we have a ranchero.us roundup :D

I think thats an excellent idea and then maybe the Ranchero will be known...remember last year...

"the next award goes to the El Camino and what??and Ranchero??? it doesn't matter the El Camino won."

remember that statement...yeah that was a little hurtful but none the less we had an outstanding time and we will be there with bells on. Also there are a couple new members that live up near you I've been in contact with, Brad and Elijah, also Tom and Jerry, maybe we can squash out the elkies... :D :D :D Keep me posted I'll do my best down south here.....

I think that's a excellent idea as well!
I know that there is a lot of distance between most of us, but if we can get together even in small groups it gets the word out. :D  :D

I HEAR that !!!
Are all of us Southern folks listening to whats being talked about here???
But Please, any where BUT Atlanta !!!
Done been there,Three times this month...a record fer years worth of that place...
That would put a LOT of Rancheros on th highway fer that weekend a LOT...
Just a cruise in to th State Park? we could afford that...

Lets hear from ya...4 1/2 months is enuff time fer organizing this thing...

ps~send me a PM if interested (after posing here)
Fl.Ga.Al.Tn.SC.NC.??? I will consider to volunteer my time to organize a meet this same weekend...

I think any thanks should go to you Dennis!
All I did was pass along the word about what's been happening here for years... Long before I got involved.
It takes a special dedication to do the organizing for even a small event and "Ya done GOOD!"
:D :D :D :D :D
I hope you have a better than expected turn-out!

According to the computer, it is 418 miles from my house to the motel in Wenatchee, Washington. I will be leaving Boise at approximately 6:30 am. In Caldwell, Idaho I will rendezvous with a fellow Ranchero entusiast an we will Caravan to the Round-up. It should be quite a sight. I will be driving my Brittany Blue '67, and my friend will be driving a Black and White '57. Too bad we won't have a '77 to join us.

The show was a great success. You will enjoy Dan's photos. Next year the meet will be in Boise, Idaho as a part of the Northwest Motorfest, July 4-8. We are shooting for "Fifty for the Fiftieth", and at least one representative car for each model year. This will be one great show. Don't miss it.
