Since many early (1966 and earlier) Rancheros have much in common with the mustang these may be good sources for disc brake conversion info. Thanks As is '66!!!:)

A link showing the external wiring necessary to use a Duraspark instead of your old points ignition system. Pretty simple, uses stock coil. Forget about chainging points and condenser and gap and dwell nonsense. Get the connectors from a donor if you can -- else you can splice with care.

From Clark - meant to duplicate this here long ago:

Great news for those of us (maybe only me) who have struggled with those worthless GM A/C suction throttle valves in our '72? - '79 Rancheros. Old Air Products now offers a replacement kit using a straight empty tube, a modern compressor cycle switch, and even has fittings for the evaporator and expansion valve lines. They call it a POA Update and comes in R12 and R134a versions.

Thanks for the tip, Clark!!!

I needed a vacuum by-pass servo which I figured would be impossible to find new, 72GTVA hooked me up with this thread for a part for my a/c system and low and behold they had the vacuum servo, may be pricey but I needed one.
