I've seen that one before.
There must be some problems he is trying to cover with paint that caused no one to buy it, otherwise he wouldn't be doing it.

 

Before you start accusing Carl of anything, that one doesn't have gills.

I think you're right........he didn't offer it here because we are LOWBALLERS.

 

He said he paid $3,400 for it, in worse shape, and he's seen mint ones being sold for $14K, and FF offered him $4,500,.......so, yeah, you are 100% correct.

 

If FF really did offer him $4500 and he didn't take it.....
Well that explains why he would be dumping more money into it by painting it. A quality paint job would cost almost a grand in materials, and 90+ hours of labor.

Yeah, very true. I've seen lots of ads asking that much, but I think the only place you'll see a common Ranchero sell for that kind of money would be on Barrett-Jackson, and even there only maybe.

The exception would be a 70-71 with a 429, shaker hood and hidden headlights, of course.

 

We've had members here turn down $30K offers for their Fishmouth's.

 

So, we have a few members who drink a little too much sometime. PWD (posting while drunk) may not be smart but it's not a crime.
