    I've seen that one before.
    There must be some problems he is trying to cover with paint that caused no one to buy it, otherwise he wouldn't be doing it. :cool:

    He said he paid $3,400 for it, in worse shape, and he's seen mint ones being sold for $14K, and FF offered him $4,500,.......so, yeah, you are 100% correct.

    If FF really did offer him $4500 and he didn't take it.....
    Well that explains why he would be dumping more money into it by painting it. A quality paint job would cost almost a grand in materials, and 90+ hours of labor.

    Yeah, very true. I've seen lots of ads asking that much, but I think the only place you'll see a common Ranchero sell for that kind of money would be on Barrett-Jackson, and even there only maybe.

    The exception would be a 70-71 with a 429, shaker hood and hidden headlights, of course.;)

    So, we have a few members who drink a little too much sometime. PWD (posting while drunk) may not be smart but it's not a crime.:)
