Filled up today - hereabouts: 87 Octane $2.199 89 Octane $2.449 93 Octane $2.799 Up a little over the past couple of weeks, near the prices locally around Christmas time.
I passed the cheap station last night. 87 octane was $3.579. This is in the high desert of SoCal, which is usually a little cheaper than the L.A. area. Joseph
My motorcycle days are behind me. Bad knees, bad balance. The only motorcycle I could see in my future is a three-wheeler, and it would probably mean getting rid of the Ranchero. I'm not too bothered with local gas prices, although I do see it causing other prices to rise, or quality to lower, in order to keep profits up for businesses. Joseph
There is no cost high enough to make me switch to an economy ride anymore. Maybe when I had to commute, like I did with Pud the Festiva, but not anymore. Last time I got gas in the van was early March, so gas prices don't phase me much. Not a fan of the excessive taxing though.
Nothing says 'Look at me! I left my testicles at home!' like a three wheeler does. Good call there, friend.
I wouldn't mind the taxing so much if the states actually used the taxes for their intended purposes. Last year, California got an extra 35 cents/gallon tax to help fix our highways. Okay, California, that means that you need to fix our highways, not thrown it at that @#$%^&* bullet train that nobody needs. Joseph
