Late? I was one of the founding members here. I joined the original Ranchero forum in 1999-ish. But thanks. I was going to paint it Grabber Blue, but the green fits my Irish heritage, I suppose.

Storing cars outside on dirt is an invitation to rust I suggest you get a breathable cover and put down maybe a vapor barrier then a good load ( deep ) gravel and park on that . driving it periodically would be best.

As far as driving, I avoid the I95 corridor as much as possible. If I have to drive down to NJ from VT it is the best to do the I 84 across to the NYS thruway it takes a little longer but less traffic and idiots!

Why not? I feel like one of those 20 year old members we used to have, getting all this advice from old timers.

Nothing wrong with a little common-sense advice. Advice is good as long as it's helpful. I remember some of the old coots giving that April some pretty bad advice!!! You remember that? I think her name was April anyway.

I do remember that. It was during the Dark Ages of the site, which were, ironically, the Golden Age of the site. I meant common sense advice, like I've never owned a car before.

So you don't appreciate 62restomod's input, even though he's obviously just trying to give some advice? That's not very nice. I like that guy, why don't you?
