Doin' it nice takes lot's of time even when everything goes your way. Looking great Jeff ! Got one dummy question fer ya though. Why did the previous owner feel the need for a block heater ?

 

What heads are you using?

 

Haha good eyes! Originally the truck was in Colorado so the block heater was probably needed there. I didn't put it back on for here in TX

Here is probably more information than you needed or wanted but what the heck:

347 Stroker Motor –

9.5:1 Compression Ratio, Eagle Forged Rods, Probe Flat Top Pistons (machined for valve clearance), RPM Main Bolt Girdle, Crane Hardened Pushrods, New 5.0 Roller Cam Block from SVO, Custom Lunati Cam, Brass Freeze Plugs, SVO Double Roller Fully Indexable Timing Chain, SVO "FluidDampr" Style Harmonic Balancer, Canton 7 Qt. Oil Pan, All ARP Hardware, March Chrome Kit (pulleys, alternator, A/C compressor, etc.),Taylor 8MM Custom Fit Wires, Stage 3 ported and polished Dart/World Products/World Castings/BMP (phew ) “Windsor Jr.” style heads (with Manley Valves, Triple Valve Springs, SVO 1.6 Roller Rockers, and SVO tall aluminum valve covers), ported and port matched Victor Jr. Intake, a Chuck Nuytten Holley 4150 750 CFM Double Pumper, K&N air cleaner with flow through S&B Filter Top

Transmission –

Manually shifted C4 prepped by Performance Automatics, street/strip HD converter, B&M Pro Stick Shifter

Ignition-

MSD Blaster Coil, MSD Billet Distributor, MSD Digital 6 Plus

Fuel System –

Mallory 200 GPH Fuel Filter, Holley Blue Electric Fuel Pump, Regulator, Stainless Steel Braided Hose from the Gas Tank to Carburetor with Aeroquip Fittings everywhere

Didn't recognize the World heads, they looked a bit like the Dart Pro, but not quite.
