Not for me. Guy must have grown up with only one color of crayon http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-Ford-Ranchero-GT-Custom-/230651552166?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item35b3e761a6#v4-42
If a person could get it for a good price you could change a few of the red parts out but yah thats a nice car but a bit much on the red.
I like that shade but you have to be very careful with red because it can become a train wreck on these things real quick.
not a fan of red in general...but! do like the monocolor effect if tastefully done....looks like a nice ride. Just to be picky i would have gone black on the the interior bits that the owner went wood on (looks like real wood appliques) but the workmanship looks pretty good.
Thats the one I got the Idea for the Camaro/Torino hybrid mirrors from.. I do not like the Interior at all and the grille. headlamp bezels. bed trim. grill surround need to be a different color The door handles need shaved or a different color
Somebody around here (from Florida, I think) had a red 72 like that 4 or 5 years back. It was not quite as nice as this one, but the asking price was a lot lower too. It's not really my favorite look, but it's not bad. I just like the look of a little chrome on an old car, but I guess even that can be over-done.
I love RED but that is way too much... WAY TOO MUCH.....and now I'm glad I didn't let my brother do that to red, I LOVE CHROME... and that truck seriously needs contrast
If those were 22's on that thing it would be a perfect "ghetto cruizer" Got a guy that has a SMOKIN! '70 Olds 442 around here, But the thing looks rediculouse with the 24" rims on it!....young african-american, works at the local Mc D's....????...supplemental income?
That is one thing I can't stand in my area. I see all kinds of old cars (some gorgeous, some needing help) and they're ruined by people putting on the huge rims. Now granted I"m planning on increasing the rim size on my 1976, but I don't want anything bigger than a 16. Anything bigger probably wouldn't look right.
All the 'D Boys' (drug dealers) in Oakland CA have those wagon wheels with little or no suspension. For good reason also. Just as in the past the large wheels on wagons got thru ruts and obstacles, I have seen those D Boys hit a speed bump at 80+ and the cop car on their tail sidelined with terminal damage. FYI almost all the black people I do business with find the term "African American" they don't consider themselves African, they consider themselves just American. There is a small minority of U.S. haters pushing this whole hyphenated bit, but most know it is an insult that makes them out to be less than an actual American.
Well I think this is just polished aluminium, but anyway It's a promo from BMW (By My Wreck) when they made the whole car in alu to save weight.
