    No one has opinions??? The guys at work tell me it would look much better and I agree.

    whatever you do, dont make a ranchero out of a mustang.

    What I think would look better would be to relocate the rear axle about 8" - 12" further toward the back of the truck. It looks weird to have the rear wheels forward of the center of the bed.

    Probably will after i work out the exact dimentions to trim, but could be a foot out of the rear section and 3-6 inches just behind the radiator support. Won't be soon tho, need to finish the wifes 67 Fbird first.

    That top pic looks a little bit deceiving. I can't decide if it is the angle or what, but my 69 does not look that long and the rear is not that thick. Was that shot off a concave mirror or something?

    I'd post pix of mine to compare but Photobucket is down right now.

    Anyway, I'd lower it before I'd shorten it.
