Finally!!!! Working on our "spare" computer is a challenge! BUT I am finally able to get pics into my Super Motors Garage, after several tries... I am grateful to Tim for donating these saddlebags sent me, when I first saw them I was thinking, it sure will take a LOT to rebuild these, and I was right... It took a FULL day to get both bags into usable condition... When the wife saw them, she told me I would need a bigger Bike, I said OK! The bottoms were burned badly, one more so than the other... A "redneck Metal Break" was incorporated to make a "liner" from roof flashing... NO BANDAIDS And a few bends, cuts and a very small amount of blood was in order to get things to come together... The bags I replaced fit INSIDE these bags, They are HUGE! The smaller bags were FULL, with only my rainsuit in the left side and other essentials in the right bag... These bags fill the entire area, from shocks to turnsignals... Look at the extra storage space!!!! I like it when donated items can be restored into usable... Thanks again Tim, Dennis __________________
Dumb question (for me). Is a handicap sticker really necessary on a motorcycle? Most places have spots for bikes that are better than the auto handicap spots. Or is it a conversation starter? :bike: arty:
Heres couple of mines, Yamaha xs 650 -72 daily rider that im now workin for my wife. My passion build from scratch, B.S.A B33 52 digger, not street legal but rideable. My newest build, Shovelhead fxe -76, was a FLH dressed, all work done on tins so frame is fully original and easy to build back as dresser of bagger.
I ditched the Vulcan last week, got $100 more than I had in it, I didn't like how it handled our highways. I rode home from Eureka yesterday on this.
NICE!!! I put the front tire on my 96 V4 Magna just now, in hopes of getting it operable and for sale...
Lot of nice great bikes on here , the fun part is no matter what you have just like the Ranchero or any ride, you make it your own when you build it or upgrade it and that makes them all unique for each person .
We do things a tadd differently sometimes, but "it all comes out in the wash" Nice Bike72gt!!! Lets RIDE D
