So I have removed the AC parts including the plenum from my 72 Ranchero. The question is, does anyone know of a heater only cover for that?

Well ... one person here used an old valve cover as a duct. Not sure what it was from, but it seems like an easy fix.

I cut the original cover down and fiberglassed over the opening.

That's a good idea. I know they make them for GM - http://www.acdelete.com/

Just thought someone might know one for ford.

Yeah, that is the website. But those looks to be only or GM models. Is there a model that is similar to the Ford 1972?

I like the idea of cutting down and modifying the original AC box

On the 72 the heater hoses are on the right. And no round area to the left

    These do look sweet though.

So here is my AC box. The bottom holes are broken out and its in need of some repair. I guess I will take all the parts out and see if i can turn it into a better box by cutting it down a bit.

Parts removed and broken in half. We have a boat/fiberglass repair shop here locally. I will see what they think about making it smaller.
