Oh, I've gotta hear this! And, in response to this, I have to ask: how often does pranking go on at IIHS?
It won't when I get done with it! And the unimaginative dolts in government couldn't come up with anything better than Starfleet Command's logo:
Often enough. 90% of it by me. I don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll make it sort of short. A friend ordered a pretty expensive, custom built, Martin Guitar. He had it shipped to work, because he didn't want it sitting on his doorstep all day waiting. Delivery was delayed a few weeks, so it arrived while he was on vacation. He asked me to put it in his office and lock door when it did. So......I bought a cheap guitar at Goodwill ($5), put it in a box, backed the forklift over it, jumped up and down on it, kicked it across the floor, then put it in his office, hiding the new one. When he got back from vacation, he waked into his office and later said his heart hit the floor. When he picked up the box, he saw a guitar through the tears in the cardboard, and, as if on cue, a couple strings broke, making a 'braaaaang,...boooooing' sound. I earned Master Status that day.
I must bow to the Master. *genuflection* So how far did he chase you, swinging the broken guitar like an ax?
The Flying V shipped from Goodwill today, and so did the spinner parts from ebay & amazon. I'm heading to IKEA this week to check out the sheepskins. Woo-Hoo! .75 hot dogs on the way out!
The new Space Force logo is actually based on the preexisting Air Force Space Command logo, which was established in 1982 and rendered obsolete by Space Force.
Did you kill a muppet to decorate that guitar? https://indiecrafts.craftgossip.com/2010/08/06/did-you-kill-a-muppet-to-decorate-that-guitar/
This has to be the cheapest body design ever.... Not sure where the studs for a strap would go though.
Current guitar/ukulele trove. The red Telecaster, the green AstroCaster guitar (copyrighted) & ukuleles are built by me. Red SG on the left is a 1964 Gibson, built in the original Kalamazoo MI factory, refinished in lacquer by me. If any of you enjoy a great guitar at a bargain price, consider that TV yellow Epiphone Les Paul Special on the right. It requires a little tweaking to get it set up, but it's a fantastic guitar for about $149; maybe less now, since Epiphone is intruducing a new line of guitars- "Epiphone Inspired by Gibson", which have the Gibson "open book" headstock shape. I'm sure the old Epihphones with the clipped corner headstocks will be going for bargain basement prices.
I disagree. Les Paul's original solid-body, 'The Log,' was originally just a 4X4 fencepost, with Epiphone guitar body sections attached. Now that's cheapness!
