    I remember the latter part of his career. He was a star in these parts at that time.

    As were Al Sr., Mears, Sneva, Johncock, Foyt, Luyendike and a bunch more. After the split Indy was never the same. Still isn't.

    Was a big fan of Bobby Unser. In my high school & early college years we'd to camp out in the infield at the Pocono 500. All the legends/greats were there - good times...
