As stated, E code, has the 2 Holley tea pot setup. Replaced original manifold with a set of headers (still have original also), true dual exhaust with flowmasters. Everything else is pretty much stock. The block was just reassembled from a fresh rebuild with a mild cam. Probably driven 15 miles since. The car was originally black with red/white interior. All of the interior has been redone with new seat, headliner, carpet and door panels. The dash chrome, speedo and clock are still original. The car isn’t perfect by any means. But it would make a great piece for someone to finish. This car is so rare I’m not really sure of the value but I do know it draws a lot of attention. I figured I’d give you guys a shot at it before I lost it locally or ebay. Located in Kingsport, Tn. 37665. I can also help arrange transport on a rollback within reason. $35,000 OBO. Hit me up with an offer, I’m open and reasonable.

Am I out of the ballpark on price here guys? Would someone with some expertise help me out here? I’d like for someone that could do this car justice to end up with it. I’m not needing to sell it, I just don’t have the interest in it any longer with all my other obligations.

No idea if price is high, low or just right.

Even if it's a smoking good deal $35k is a lot of money. At least to me it is.

If you can get that you are doing well but I don't think the market is nearly that high...right now. You stated OBO so maybe someone will offer you something that you find acceptable...? Good luck with you sale!

mine is also an E code but not any more. The E code is very rare in a '57 and I would think EXTREMELY rare in a Ranchero. I would try to advertise in Hemmings. Being this rare it should command a good price. lotsa luck.

Thank you for the reply. That’s my thoughts as well about the rarity. I’ll check out Hemmings. I’m not looking for top dollar but I also don’t want to give it away. Most people overlook the E code factor and just see it as another 57 ranchero that wasn’t super popular. Thanks again!

You may not be to far off... According to Hagerty

Do not see a listing specifically for the E Code, you may want to consider having it appraised.

With only 16000 or so produced, it may be the ONLY E-code made. I'd personally love to have it but finances do not allow at even half that price.
