GT Door Panels

I'm fitting a pair of GT (sport) door panels to my '76 Ranchero and need some help, seems they don't quite fit. While they hang well and the rear and lower door clips connect the three on the front of the door panel don't. Also the standard door pulls don't fit.

Does anyone out there have a pic of the door pulls for a GT and also a pic of the door without the panel attached, seems there might be a shelf on the door that the cup in the armrest screws to.

hmm, maybe i'm calling these by the wrong name...the door panels i'm referring to look like this, and are molded plastic.

They should fit 1974-1976 as well.
The door pulls are different, I just posted an ad. for the door pulls in the parts link section, I will pull it up and post it here for you.
Also there should be a mounting bracket that fits on under the arm rest on the door side of the panels.

That is curious in that the speaker cut out are round instead of rectangle

probably a hack job Ceej for aftermarket speakers. I think those only came with no holes or rectangle from the factory.

 

Someone cut them to install round speakers on the surface of the panels.
