1972 Ford Ranchero 500. $ 8,000.00 Located in Northeast Kansas 351 Cleveland. H code, 2V heads – no oil leaks. 83000 original miles. 1 owner. My Great Grandfather bought this Ranchero new in 1972. It has been in the family ever since. I just can’t afford to bring it in, so I hope someone else will finish the job. Engine has been rebuilt once, around 67000 miles. Added a Edelbrock performer manifold and headers. Engine has some sort of an intermittent backfire at highway speed. Most likely timing. I just can’t get it dialed in. Does not affect drivability. I have recently done the following: New Distributor w/Pertronix ignition, new MDS Coil, new Fuel pump, new Edelbrock 1906 AVS2 Carburetor (Set 8% rich, but I have all of the jets and rods to go stock), Rebuilt Certified C4 transmission (1500 miles). New turn signal switch, new front rotors and master cylinder, new steering gear. Everything electrical works, except the license plate light. It has an aftermarket Stereo and door speakers. Sub Box in the back, but not included. AC Works. Replaced heater core once since I’ve had it. New Factory Seat cover and carpet. New Front tires. GT Hood. I will throw in the original hood as well. I have stock air cleaner and Jack, factory front license plate holder, and hubcaps. Rust in the usual places. But, floor pans are strong. Dents and dings. More pictures if you need them. It's all here...come and get it!
