I need a new windshield and a sway bar adjustment.
And a good tire warm up.
Your front sway bar could be the problem also.
Your launch videos are an inspiration to us all. Do this tracks have any GoPro rules? Like where you can mount them? A front bumper shot would be cool.
Nice Gremlin in front of you. Don't see those everyday.
I'm going to make a mount where only we will know for the next time. The Ranchero is lifting the front wheels and as you can see it's going to the left. Easy fix. I think.
The Gremlin was pitted next to me and it's fairly stock with fiberglass bumper he made.
No front sway bar. The rear is adjustable. The burnout is a 2ond to 3rd, so the tires are spinning at 90 mph. That pass was 11.2 @ 119 mph. I think the hit is pretty good with the stock frame and suspension with only a 10 inch slick.
The best part is the RANCHERO USA sticker.
always enjoy your track vids, its my pseudo fix until I return back myself.
Zooming in on the sticker was a nice touch!
Nice video!, great watch! Werid how much it sounds like my Durango though.
You guys are killin me. Thats the worst video. Next time maybe it will be from behind me so you can hear me scream like a little girl.
Dude. I am so sorry, but I couldn't pass that one up. You put in on a pedestal, in a gold frame, under a spotlight.
I still liked the video, though.
If you can, do one like you did, and another one behind the car at the same time.
Your roll cage should be mitigating frame twist, but I know that without one it is a serious problem. The only time I got mine 'wheels up' the frame was bent afterwards. It wasn't a lot, the bumper ended off level by 3/8" from end to end, but during the launch it looked a lot like what you saw.
I run a stout anti sway bar in the front, and apparently that helped until the front got too light as it does all right as long as they are planted solidly.
Funny Guy. That's west Virginia for ya.
Central VA, actually.
Just be careful something like this doesn't happen:
It's nice to see a ranchero at the track. These cars get looked over so much for being lumbering boats.
