I've had the pleasure of being a Dad since the 2nd of this month and absolutely love it. Had a baby girl weighing in at 7lbs 3oz born in the morning at 5:18. Everything went smooth and Roselina is doing great. Ended up putting the ranchero in the outbuilding for now and driving around a 98 explorer now. I'll make sure to still stop around though:D

Congrats, it definitely becomes a balancing act with your time when you have a child, jobs, and hobbies.

Being the father of a girl is rough. One minute they adore you, the next they can't stand you, the next they need you to fix something, then they want money for everything,...then they are all grown up. Enjoy every second.

Also keep in mind that if you live in a rural area and have a septic system----it will not work correctly til the last girl leaves the house.
I still have a boy at home (almost 19) but the 3 girls----wow----what a roller coaster. But when the last one left home, my septic and drainfields started working and my water bill dropped down to just a service fee.
Despite all of that---I'm still kind of fond of them----especially since they all have daughters of their own now (heh heh heh)

Ain't that the truth. I live in a house with three women, and all of them seem to know more about how septic systems and water pumps work than I do. Six months after we moved from our house in Michigan, the septic and drain field failed to the tune of $14K, but I didn't have to pay (hehehehe). I can't win, ever (except on web forums and at work).

Congrats Kellen. I wish I could have looked you up when I passed through Lincoln in May but Mom's funeral and all had me locked down.
