79 ranchero, bled brakes(all new) and solid pedal, turn car on and brakes go to floor ! booster ? i removed to paint and gasket looked bad so i made one (couldnt find) out of a much thicker material. could it be to thick and banjo not hitting ? thanks for any tips

Can you do a vacuum test on the booster to include the hose and banjo fitting? That will tell you.

I didn't think the gasket mattered for the banjo fitting. Seems like the banjo slides into a sealing socket on the booster.

Oh yes. Banjo fittings can go bad. The same for the vacuum boosters - mine did on my '75 Ranchero.

its confirmed booster ! where did you get a new one ? so far i see NAPA sends them off to Cordone to be refurbished. thank you very much ! I have another question i think you may know, what is the best weight and rearend grease for a TruTrac, has clutch pack posi when one wheel spins it switches over to other wheel. just heard you should not use synthetic grease on this rearend . thanks for any guidance

I would check Eaton's website, as the requirements probably change with or without clutches.
