    I finally got some time to look at my H-code from pacoima, it must have been driving in sunny ca all of its life the frame looks absolutely new no scratches or rust and the body has only 3 tiny rustholes in the left floorpan along with the smashed rear bumper and left rear quarterpanel, a new grille, molding, weatherstripping and some loose ends in the wiring and it will be as good as new. Need some help with the door tag, thanks:
    body= 97D
    color= 28 or Z8
    trim= UAA
    trans= w
    axle= 6
    dso= 71

    28 or Z8 = (How About 2B) - Bright Red
    UAA = Black, Bench Seat
    W = C4 Automatic Transmission
    6 = 3.00:1 Conventional Axle
    71 = Los Angelas

    What's with you 72 owners and your 'codes'?
    Q-code, H-code. So an H-code is basically a standard, run of the mill, Ranchero?
    I'm going to see what 'code' my 71 is. Maybe it's an S-code. Yeah, that would make me cool :)

    No amount of anything would make you cool, although under some circumstances you might be able to come up with some "pesonality", if you went to Mexico or the Philippines with a large wad of money.

    Many are naturally cool, the rest were born and lived in or around Detroit.

    You are missing one # after the 4 it will tell if its a 500, GT or Squire.
    but the 0 are 1970 A= Atlanta plant and the H are 351 the rest are just a number that are special and unique for your car.:)
