"How many passes",It depends on the crowd, but 4 or 5 is the norm. This past weekend it was only 3 due to the large number of FAST cars.

The wheels have been on for over a year now. Just noticed how wavy the door is,,,, time to make a fiberglass door?

Excelent ! Looks like you are well on the way of mastering the art of weight transfer and hooking up. Your choice of a nose heavy vehicle was quite a challenge but I think you'll beat the odds. Body flex ? Do the door look like that while sitting still ?

The door you see is the that way. When I was putting it together I wanted to replace it. Got lazy and the door is just that ugly. The full roll cage and rear anti roll bar help stop the flex. This Rancher is stock front and rear suspension and a 10 inch slick, so I think it's doing well. Havin fun

That looks great you almost have both wheels off the ground let alone one. Think I'm pretty damn near close to pulling a wheel, and after all the work i've done this winter I am really hoping for low 11's. What was your 1/4 mile et on that run?

I think you've got some more work to do, RD :D Seriously, low 11's aren't easy, or cheap, to achieve, especially with a big fat Ranchero. Airford has something impressive.

I'm pretty damn near close at my best time last year being a 11.6. A little more tweaking maybe a small shot of nitrous and I think I'll be there....

Go on a diet and maybe you'll get 11.2 ;)

Seriously, you've both got a pretty mean pair of chero's.

YOU CAN DO IT! My biggest problem has been unloading the tires mid track with all the torque the 385 throws down.

Lol the ranchero needs a diet not me being 135 when wet lol. I did take 150 or so off the car with my interior restoration this winter. I may also try removing the rear tailgate when I race it this year, may help quite a bit but may hurt my traction. Also put on new lighter bigger exhaust to boot too that easily comes all the way off so I could run open header, it may be very plausible. In my opinion I think it is a very good feat to get these whales to run low 12's to 11's very happy either way. And thanks ff we both have some pretty mean ranchero's scared a lady last week walking down the sidewalk, got into the skinny pedal a bit should have seen her jump.
