I hope you can help me with my dads 70 Ranchero It was given to me after he passed away. he was the original owner of the truck, and I always thought that it was a 1970 Ranchero GT but know I'm not sure . please help Vin # first letter is hard to make out I think it is a F but could be a J? # is FOA48M1O59237 . It is probably Script Ford "F" OA48M1O5923 Script Ford "F" 0 means 1970, A means Atlanta 48 Means Ranchero GT M means 351 with 4 Barrell Carburetor 11.0:1 Compression Ratio (That's a keeper!!!) 105923 = sequential body unit in the Torino Line built in Atlanta in 1970 Model Year Production. Get the data plate info and we'll decode the rest for you!
