    Hi,
just picked up a 1966 Ranchero, I'm so damn excited. She's no where close to perfect but such a great hobby to keep me entertained. Look forward to asking everyone dumb questions! First up new wheels and rims, then new dash, then new disk brakes.

Welcome to the forum, pics are not only welcome, but can also be presented full-sized. And remember: "The only stupid question is the one not asked."

Welcome to the site... maybe after you read through a few threads in "The Stable", your questions won't seem so stupid. Can almost guarantee its been asked before.

    Hey Kiwi
you say yours is Sahara Beige, and it does look like the same color as mine, but my vin says it's called Wimbledon White. Are these the same color or are these different colors? OR which i just thought of as i was writing this - the prior owner that did the rough paint job that's on it - maybe he painted the wrong color? hmmm... i think some detective work is needed on my part.

Wimbledon White is a bright white, close to the later Titanium White, so I suspect you're right, he used a different color.

Yeah , as Handy Andy said. Wimbledon white is much whiter . My mate who has done some touch-ups for me has the paint codes. Out here there were Cortinas painted the same colour — he used to have one long ago.
