it looks like he might be the dems pick more and more. it's just like them to pick someone who makes teddy kennedy look like a conservative:rolleyes:. the republicans will have a field day with that, and the photo of him standing with his hands folded during the national anthem. i can just imagine him going toe to toe with the north koreans, alsheet mypants of iran, or osama binladen:eek:. mr. greenjeans from the captain kangaroo show is a little more his speed:D. i guess i'll have to hold my nose and go with mccain. even though i disagree with a lot of mccains views, at least he's got a pair {so does hillary for that matter:rolleyes:}............ray

I've always wondered how thinking individuals could ever get caught up into a cult. I was telling a friend of mine that when the anti-christ comes(for those who believe), look how EASY it will be to "brainwash" people.
Obama has said and done nothing yet people admire him like he's God's gift to humanity. Hook, line and sinker. It's amazing. I'm sorry, but there's not one politician I will "shed tears" over.

Don't count that snake hillary out yet. Both her and bill will stop an nothing to win. You need look no farther than the Pardon of Puerto Rican Terrorists to help get her elected to the senate. Those worthless bastards planted bombs that blinded and blew both hands off a NYPD bomb squad cop and most of the fingers off of another. The clintons both knew these pieces of crap were heros to most Puerto Ricans She and bill did not care it is always win at any cost. To the kind of people that vote for her the pardons of terrorists mean nothing. That is the kind of people they surround themself with. My hope is that Obama does win but is completely trashed by that b@#$h and it pisses off her base of minority and screwball liberal voters so they throw her out of the senate..... then hopefully her and that pervert bill will just go away. Both of those people are absolute evil to the bone.

When I say I hope Obama wins I mean the primary not elected President

Dems seem "suicidal" with their choice of candidates last few elections. Just about anyone could have beat Bush last time, except the aloof patrician Kerry. Anyway, Obama would be a gift, that McCain should be able to beat, when the depth of his experience is given light; but I won't count Hill out yet. Scary times to think either of them are even in the running!! McCain is noat my fave Rino, but the alternative is too horrible to contemplate. Just remember, the next pres. appoints many Supremes, and a host of federal judges!!

Blue, I hope you are right, but Obama's appeal seems to defy logic. A month ago I would have bet money that Hillary wouldn't have a problem getting the Democrat nomination. Now Obama almost seems unstopable. Between the liberals like BB, the deadbeats looking for a free ride and those that just downright hate America (OK, maybe that includes the first two), I think Obama may very well be our next Prez.

Well, we did say we wanted things to change in Washington. You know, they always say "be careful what you ask for........."

We'll see. I know that "substance" will not mean much to the cheering and weeping loons in the crowds Obama attracts, but those of us who think (the Independents, and some cross over Dems) will have a better look in the months of head to head with McCain debates and campaigning to come. It will be interesting (as in the Chinese curse: "may you live in interesting times") none the less.

Nah, he's the un-dubya. And also the un-Hillary. McCain is just more of the same old(er) tired Repub crapola. That's the logic.

Somebody should ask dubya why his VP isn't in the contest.

His VP would not live through his term lots of heart trouble he needs to chill out. Surprised he has done so well under all the stress. McPain is as good as a republican as any democrat can be have hated and detested him for years. So we vote for the democrat of our choice this year or not vote at all.

Obama is telling folks what they want to hear. Those folks that have always followed blindly to BS are continued to follow and now he has alot of folks following because he talks this change he wants to make take place. Folks are tired of alot of the political BS that has taken place and are now ready to try something new whether logical or not. Obama is full of crap but he's good at that crap. There is a blind following that Obama has in his wings. If he wins this country will go backwards towards socialism/communism, scary thought for me. He just might be the antichrist.

I think that's very true. We're at a scary place as a society when you can wave something shiny in front of folks, and they say "I want that" rather than think of the conquences, and what it's going to take to do it.

I haven't had health insurance for nearly 2 years. I'll be the first one to say that we need health care *reform* - but free health care, or universal health care? It's by far the *worst* thing that can happen. There needs to be promotion and encouragement for the free market, and compeition to lower prices.

When you're talking about "wealth re-distribution" and forced garnishments if you don't take the coverage provided... we have a *serious* problem here gentleman. My worst thoughts are what a dem congress, and a very liberal president will do to our nation. We're in a lot of trouble now as it is! I'll also be the first to say that Juan McCain isn't the best choice either... it's just bad.

All we can do is make as educated of choice as we can make... and pray.... really, really pray.... hard..... lots..... all the time.....:(

Don't give up, look for Hill to try to "smoke filled back room" Obama out, and her in as the nominee in the Dem convention, causing a huge rift in their party, and Obama and his supporters going off to run an Independent candidacy, dividing thier votes, and giving McCain the win. Even without that, look for some fireworks in their party in coming months. We just have to hold our nose and turn out in Nov. It would be stupid to just lay down and give it to them!!!

News flash, I guess that Obama has been tied to the Weather Underground of the domestic terror group of the 60's. Must be Hill's minions dug that up, like they did his Madrass schooling. I don't look for the story to have legs though, not for the darling of the MSM he is.

LOL, he must have joined at a really early age, i.e., he was born in 1961. A little skepticism wouldn't hurt you.

Looks like Obama has just won his 9th state in a row, at this moment his lead in Wisconsin is 30k votes and pulling away. This oughta scare Hillary some, she was expected to win Wisconsin.
