Finally got a set of Magnum 500's for my 72 GT.

I ended up getting them from Summit.
15X8 with 235/60's all the way around.

Just could not take those old aluminums any longer :D

Oh yes, those surely bring out the Ranchero power. They look clean on that cruck!

I never get tired of them, the best wheels ever designed. Nice green!

I'm a huge fan of the original mag wheels for the 72 and am disheartened when I see aftermarket or even Mustang wheels on a Ranchero. There's something about them that are special no matter how cool a new rally or custom wheel can be. I had to re-post that pic! Looks great!

Did you get the center caps from summit also? They never show the red ford crest center cap in their catalogs...

The raised whites "out" look good too. Might do that next time. oooh, just noticed. The old 295/50/R15 in the BFG would have been a nice choice for the rears but I'm sure you had good reason for the balanced approach.

    Thanks everyone.

I am really thrilled with the new look :)
I knew it would be better but I did not realize just how much.

I did get the red center caps from Summit as well.
I was considering bigger tires for the rear but availability at the time was a problem and I was a bit impatient
