The Big-O tire by me has a 72 ranchero they are trying to repair that has a damage strut rod.
Does anyone here know what other vehicles use the same strut rod, and is it different in the early vs late 72's?
    Thanks

I'd think it's the intermediate cars, but as they are supposed to be the same through '79, I'd recommend goi g after ones in a '77-'79 T-Bird/Cougar, and of course, any '72-'79 intermediate wagon.

Which reminds me, my strut rod bushings are looking a bit shrunk these days. If control becomes a funhouse ride, they may need replacement sooner, rather than later.

The 73-79 MPC shows D2AZ-3468-A for all Torinos, T-Birds, LTD IIs and Rancheros from 1973 thru 1979. Since the part number is 1972, would include that year also, as well as Cougars.

The 72 belongs to it's owner, yes. I have no idea who she is.
I saw the car sit there for several days, so naturally I walked in and inquired in order to let the owner know about this site.
