i've been noticing my tail light lens have developed vertical cracks in my 67. other than purchasing new ones from like Dearborn @$50 each, has anybody ever fixed their red lenses?
i've seen the handy red tape fix online, but i'd like to do it right.

It's plastic so just take some liquid plastic cement (looks like water) and just brush it through those cracks from behind. Make three or four applications, and that should hold it together for a while. I did this on Babe's left front marker/turn lens after the lens broke away from the mounting plate. It's holding pretty good right now.
