Trouble

    Went to put on a new intake and carb on car. Opened up valley pan and found a horrible site.
    Guess the last owner did some jerrigging.
    Appears had a broken push rod. But all 16 rods are in the engine now including the broken rod...

    I'll bet its not usual that it ends up in there:rolleyes:

    lol easier to pull a valve cover than an intake. Free parts for the 'broken stuff' shelf in the garage.

    happens a lot more often than you would think.......I have found several "extra" push rods under intakes I have pulled at the yards

    I assume thats because he replaced it from the head and did not open the intake.
